Lenora's Art Work

Lenora has been having fun with crayons and now recently, watercolors. She is excited about her pictures, so we are posting some of them here. These have all made it to the status of "Let's hang that on the refrigerator".

Happy Holidays!

This year's first Brower nativity re-enactment was a success! Short, sweet, and fun. We managed to catch a shot of the cast before they got tired of wearing towels around their heads.

The day after Christmas we hit the road to Colorado for Marshall and Janelle's wedding in Denver. It was fun! Following the New Year, we headed to California for another reception and the Jex Christmas party. Whew! 3000 road miles in 2 weeks.

Lenora's First Day at School

I think we were more nervous on Lenora's first day at school than she was. I have to admit, I was fighting back emotions. Questions were racing through my mind: How could our little girl be leaving us each day to go to school? Would she be safe? How would the other kids treat her?

"Meet the teacher" day a few days ago was a great time to get acquainted with her excellent new teacher, Mrs. Cross (well, she is anything but cross). I am excited for Lenora. She will do great!

Benjamin was wide-eyed in amazement at all the kids at the flag ceremony that morning. It was fun to see their excitement, running around with their new clothes and backpacks.

About the emotions... I guess I'd better get used to the separation anxiety. Next thing I'll know, Lenora is going to be asking me for car keys and filling us in on her wedding plans.
